Film Session

I love that using film allows me to be full present in the moment and deliberate with each photo -- as there is a hard cost per frame and roll of film to take and develop. Each image and frame that is taken with film has a purpose. I want you to look back at the major and small, everyday moments and remember how it felt forever. We will tailor the session based on your individual needs, and we typically use about 2-4 rolls of film per session. For families on film, sessions typically last about two hours and families usually opt for a session that takes place at various places throughout your home and neighborhood. My biggest advice to my families is to choose an activity that feels authentic to them and this season of their life. Reading books in nooks where you feel comfortable, or grabbing a coffee and strolling through your neighborhood will lead to authentic photos that you feel connected to. For engagements on film, sessions typically last about three hours and couples typically opt for 3-4 locations that include a mix of parks, neighborhoods, bars and restaurants. My biggest advice to my couples is to choose a location that feels authentic to them and their relationship. Picking bars and restaurants and neighborhoods where you feel comfortable will lead to authentic photos that you feel connected to. Film session galleries typically contain around 90 edited photos that will be ready for download within 10 business days from the session.
